I'm a licensed massage therapist and I specialize in orthopedic bodywork. My practice is dedicated to working with active New Yorkers, providing them with the most comprehensive pain and tension relief so they can perform better and live with more ease and comfort.
I'm no stranger to illness, pain and suffering. Growing up, I had to have numerous major surgeries for multiple physical conditions. Additionally, I have experience with broken bones and a ruptured achilles tendon from sports and dance injuries. I also used to suffer from cluster headaches regularly and from the age of 18-21 I was struggling with anxiety and depression. At the age of 21, I was diagnosed with a debilitating illness which caused me to make some major changes in my life.
Dealing with all these setbacks has given me the experience and capacity to work with others who are suffering from any of the above mentioned conditions and more.
In addition to my private sessions, I also teache massage to couples and amateurs who want to learn about this healing art. I've taught both in person and online at the New York Open Center, The Learning Annex and at various workshops and retreats throughout the US.
A firm believer in the inseparable connection between body/mind, I am a proponent of bodywork and the healing arts for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and I strongly believes in bodywork as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being.
In my free time, I enjoy dancing and other movement arts (such as the Ido Portal Method), in-line skating and longboarding, slacklining, snowboarding, surfing, traveling and connecting with nature.
