Emmanuelle’s first educational experience in bodywork took place at Esalen Institute, CA in 1990, which laid a strong foundation for her work up to the present. At the base of the Esalen approach is the union of East and West, Yin and Yang and the importance of looking at the body as whole rather than individual parts. Working with the body, (as a dancer, dance & movement teacher, and Pilates instructor) and on the body, (through Massage, Accupressure, Myofascial Release, Reiki), has been at the center of Emmanuelle’s life for over 25 years. With time and experience, it became increasingly clear that although we all share a common human structure, each individual body is the imprint of one’s own physical and emotional history, and needs to be approached as such.
Her intention is to hold a safe and healing space, where her client can engage in their own unique journey of self discovery and/ or recovery. She caters her session to the individual’s needs, agreeing on one or a combination of modalities at the time of booking. Emmanuelle is also available for alignment and body mechanics evaluations.
