Pilates or Yoga?

Q: Which one should you practice?

A: You don’t have to choose one or the other. Actually, it would be in your best interest to practice both yoga and Pilates as they are interchangeable with one another. You might take something you learned in yoga class to your Pilates practice and vise versa. Both Pilates and Yoga are incredibly complex forms of conditioning and there are three important aspects that are completely and wholly essential. Without the unity of mind, body, and spirit, we would have a form of exercise that is incomplete and broken. With a perfect balance of the three, how could you not exude self confidence after your class?! You are lucky if you have chosen Pilates and/or Yoga as your form of exercise. Not only will you benefit from the physical aspects of them, but you will be challenged mentally and face spiritual benefits as well. When I think about what makes a person confident about himself or herself, these things most definitely come to mind. These two approaches can greatly contribute to changing not only physical posture but also how you feel...lighter, more open, centered or peaceful. In addition, the more workout options available to you each day, the odds are in your favor that you will continue to move your body and stay interested in exercise. Try our 30 day unlimited package which includes Pilates equipment, pilates mat and now, yoga classes!
